Research on the Optimization Design of Urban Road Grade Intersection
Intersection is the urban road traffic gathering area and evacuation area,which plays an important role in the development of urban roads.With the advancement of urbanization and the continuous growth of car ownership,grade intersections can no longer meet the needs of traffic flow,seriously affecting the traffic capacity of roads and causing traffic congestion.In view of this phenomenon,this paper studies the optimization design of grade intersections,analyzes the operating characteristics of motor vehicles and non-motor vehicles at intersections with or without traffic lights,and carries out the channelization design of intersections.The results show that the channelization measures should cooperate with each other and play a role in promoting the operation of different traffic flows.
