In order to accurately calculate the preliminary cost of long-distance water diversion engineering,this paper first analyzes the main influencing factors of the engineering preliminary cost,including investigation and design factors,price factors and the technical level of cost personnel.In view of these factors,combined with the requirements of preliminary cost compilation,a series of countermeasures are put forward,such as strengthening communication with designers,reasonably determining the price of labor,materials,and equipment,accurately compiling unit price,reasonably grasping cost indicators,and strengthening results review and inspection.These measures help to improve the accuracy of engineering investment compilation and lay a good foundation for project setup and subsequent investment management.
