Research on Stability and Reinforcement Control Measure of High Fill Subgrade Based on Finite Element Method
Based on the finite element method, this paper deeply analyzes the stability of high fill subgrade, and studies the influence of different filling heights on the settlement of subgrade top surface and foundation.By establishing a detailed finite element model,it is revealed that the settlement of subgrade and foundation top increases significantly with the increase of filling height. The results show that the growth rate of settlement on the top of subgrade is greater than that on the top of foundation, especially when the filling height reaches 40 m,the difference of settlement reaches the maximum.Based on the numerical simulation results,a series of reinforcement measures are proposed, including the use of geosynthetics, optimization of compaction process and adjustment of subgrade structural design to reduce uneven settlement and improve structural stability. In addition, the importance of long-term monitoring and maintenance is emphasized, which aims to provide reference for the design, construction and maintenance of high fill subgrade, and provide theoretical basis and technical support for the stability assessment and reinforcement of high fill subgrade.
