In order to study the mechanical properties of intermediate diaphragms of various span skew curved T-beam bridges and optimize the reinforcement layout of intermediate diaphragms, this paper uses the Dr.Bridge to establish a grillage model to carry out the stress analysis of intermediate diaphragms aiming at the T-beam span,T-beam structural form and the intermediate diaphragm layout. The research shows that the normal intermedi-ate diaphragms of skew 30° T-beams and orthogonal T-beams of 25 m,30 m and 40 m long span beam bridges are prone to the maximum adverse load and the maximum crack, and the mechanical properties of the intermediate diaphragms with different layout methods are different, but their reinforcement selection is close to each other. In the actual design, the reinforcement is selected according to the most unfavorable situation, which can not only ensure the safety of the structure, but also improve the econom-ic benefits of the engineering. The research results can provide reference for the design of the same type of skew curved bridge.
