The Influence of Rock and Soil Thermal Conductivity Deviation on Design of Borehole Heat Exchanger
As the heat source or heat sink of ground source heat pump systems(GSHPs),the thermal physical prop-erties of rock and soil mass have an important influence on the design of the borehole heat exchangers(BHEs)and system operation. In order to determine the influence of the deviation of rock and soil thermal conductivity on the op-timal size of BHE,this paper takes an apartment applying GSHPs in Jinan as the research object, obtains the optimal length and the number of buried pipes of BHE through the generic optimization program(GenOpt),and compares them with the optimization results under different param-eter deviations. The results show that the calculation de-viation of-10%of the rock and soil thermal conductivity can increase the length of the BHE by 6.95%,while the calculation deviation of 10%can decrease the length of the BHE by 5.57%.
