Zero Discharge and Improvement Design of Reverse Osmosis Concentrated Brine
A desalination station adopts a reverse osmosis membrane process to treat the reuse water, which produces a stable output of primary demineralized water and primary concentrated brine. In order to further concentrate concentrated brine and improve the recov-ery rate and comprehensive utilization rate of wastewater from the whole process of iron and steel technology, the secondary reverse osmosis system is continued to be used to treat the primary concentrated brine, and the secondary demineralized water and secondary concen-trated brine are obtained by separation. The secondary demineralized water is recycled and replenished to the steel process or industrial water network, while the secondary concen-trated brine goes to the high salinity pipeline network. In view of the unstable water de-mand of the high salinity pipeline network, combined with the existing water treatment equipment and facilities of the station, the design is improved, the pipeline is optimized, and water sources at all levels are used in cascade,so as to implement the utilization of wastewater and the zero discharge of concentrated brine.
