Performance Simulation Study of Heat Recovery Gas Heat Pump
Taking gas heat pump with heat recovery as the research object, the math-ematical model of cooling and heating water is established, and performance of a gas-fired heat pump system with respect to its COP and PER versus shaft power under the standard design condition and off-design condition are analyzed.Under typical summer operating con-ditions,COP and PER values of 3.53 and 2.02 can be achieved. At variable operating con-ditions,COP and PER gradually decrease as the condenser inlet temperature increases. The variation of PER in two modes, with and without waste heat recovery,is simulated, and the results show that the difference between the two models reaches 0.73,the waste heat recov-ery has a significant impact on the energy utilization of the system.
