Due to welding quality defects,a company's polygonal diluted oil-sealed gas holder carried out a number of filler welding,leading to column side deformation,seepage(leakage)oil phenomenon,and there is a great potential safety hazards and environmental pollution when gas holder operates.In order to solve the problem,the company dismantled the piston and sealing mechanism of the oil-sealed gas holder,and transformed the 165,000 m3 polygonal oil-sealed gas holder into a 100,000 m3 single-section rubber membrane-sealed gas holder combined with the recently developed single-section rubber membrane-sealed gas holder structure in China,which effectively eliminated the potential safety haz-ards and environmental pollution,and achieved the purpose of energy saving and emission reduction.
