Aiming at the problem of high failure rate of vertical cryogenic pump laby-rinth seal of oxygen generation unit of the 40 000 m3/h deep-cooling internal compression process in an iron and steel plant,the factors affecting the stable operation of cryogenic pump labyrinth seal are analyzed from the aspects of equipment maintenance and operation.Through modeling,theoretical calculations,and simulation of the flow field,the overhaul cri-teria were quantified in detail,and the operating load control range was clarified,so as to extend the online service life of the labyrinth seal of the cryogenic pump and improving its operational stability.
