In the iron and steel industry,quality control is the key to ensure product perfor-mance and market competitiveness.Laboratory Information Management System(LIMS),as an ad-vanced laboratory management tool,plays an important role in improving the efficiency of sample management,process control and data analysis.This paper discusses the development and applica-tion of LIMS in the intelligent laboratory for the specific needs of the iron and steel industry,ana-lyzes its practical effects in sample flow control and instrumental data acquisition post-processing and analysis,and proposes the future development direction.
