In view of the problems of the system parameters after the change of the op-eration mode of Binhe substation,Bensteel applied the zero-loss deep current limiting de-vice to limit the short-circuit current on the low-voltage side of the main transformer.Ac-cording to the operation principle and installation method of the zero loss deep current limit-ing device,tests were carried out to verify its operation logic.Taking the Binhe power sup-ply system as an example,this paper analyzes the impact on system parameters and system structure after applying zero-loss deep current limiting device,as well as the advantages and disadvantages of zero-loss deep current limiting device in the application by combining with the fault of 33#generator system of the power plant.
