Discussion on the Design Parameters of Lime-Soda Ash Softening Method in Wastewater Dehardening Unit
The total hardness of conventional production wastewater of iron and steel enterprises is high,in order to avoid the concentration and enrichment of hardness sub-stances in the wastewater reuse or subsequent treatment process that leads to scaling prob-lems,the lime-soda ash softening method can be used to remove the hardness substances in the wastewater in the pre-treatment system.On the basis of the detailed introduction of the design points of a steel plant's production wastewater dehardening unit,in order to avoid the system scaling and fouling,the dehardening mechanism,process design,selection of chemicals and commissoning process was analyzed in depth.
