As an important energy medium for metallurgical enterprises,the stable stor-age and transportation of converter gas is related to the normal production of each process,and its safety control is crucial for the safe production of enterprises regarding that con-verter gas is also a major source of hazardous media.At present,Wiggins gas holders are widely used in the converter gas recovery and storage system.Due to the influence of the properties of the converter gas,the side panels of gas holders are susceptible to corrosion and leakage,which is a big safety hazard.Tangsteel has developed a new technology of on-line treatment of Wiggins gas holder side panel leakage,which has advantages of convenient operation,strong sealing durability and online treatment compared with the traditional treat-ment technology,and is of significance to realize the stable operation of the gas system.
