Visual analysis of TRPV1-related pain research based on CiteSpace
Objective To perform a visualized analysis of research literature on TRPV1 and pain based on CiteSpace software, explore research hotspots and trends related to TRPV1 and pain, and provide directions for subsequent work. Methods Using Web of Science as the data source,a visual analysis was conducted on the number of publications, authors, institutions, countries and keywords of TRPV1-related pain research pub-lished from January 2003 to August 2023,and a knowledge map was generated. Results After the search,5 358 articles met the inclusion criteria. In the keyword analysis,"capsaicin receptor""TRPV1""capsazepine""model""neuropathic pain""ion channel""TRPV1 antagonist""rat""primary sensory neuron""spinal cord"and"mechanism"clustered significantly. The research team with the highest number of publications was MAKO-TO TOMINAGA,and Seoul National University had the highest number of publications, with close coopera-tion among different institutions. Conclusion Currently, the number of publications on TRPV1-related pain research is increasing yearly, with basic experimental research and target drug research being the main research directions, which will become the trend for future research.
