In order to ensure efficient and stable production of sintering,the paper studied the basic properties of 8 kinds of iron ore powders commonly used in Sansteel at high temperature.The results show that the different mineral species and iron oxide occurrence form will affect the high temperature basic performance of the mineral powder.The A1 powder has higher limonite content,better high tem-perature reactivity,and lower minimum assimilation temperature.The minimum assimilation tempera-ture of magnetite powder has reached more than 1 300 ℃,but the liquid phase formation ability and flow ability are good.Especially,the fluidity index of B1 liquid phase reaches 5.59,and there are sin-tering complementary characteristics between iron ore powders.The research on the high temperature basic characteristics of iron ore provides a technical basis for optimizing the sintering ore blending.Based on the test results,the matching scheme between various types of iron ore powders is deter-mined.The ratio of ore powder is added according to the ratio of purchased rich ore powder and domes-tic concentrate powder with 8∶2,and the ratio can be fine-tuned according to the cost performance ra-tio.
