Nano iron oxide,with its excellent optical properties,magnetic responsiveness,and other functional advantages,combined with carbon encapsulation technology,has significantly promoted the development and application of new functional materials.To ascertain the kinetic parameters during the reduction process of carbon-coated rod-like nano iron oxide,an experiment was conducted to pre-pare carbon-coated rod-like nano iron oxide via hydrothermal carbonization.Under a nitrogen at-mosphere,the weight loss curves of the samples were analyzed,with cross-validation carried out u-sing both the FWO(Freundlich-Wagner-Ozawa)method and the CR(Coats-Redfern)method.The results indicated that the activation energy for the reaction of carbon-coated rod-like nano iron oxide is approximately 102.06 kJ/mol,and the reaction mechanism follows a third-order chemical re-action model.
