In order to deeply analyze the fracture problem of hot tensioning roll head in cold rolled continuous hot galvanized annealing furnace of a steel plant,ANSYS software was used to establish the finite element model of the furnace roll to simulate the axial temperature distribution of the hot tensioning roll under working conditions.Based on the thermal coupling analysis of the software,the thermal deformation and stress state between the shaft head and web,web and roll were calculated and analyzed,and the conclusion was drawn:The fracture roll head and web are made of different materials,the coefficient of thermal expansion is inconsistent,and the radial deformation of the web is larger than that of the shaft at high temperature,resulting in greater stress at the welding joint.The improvement scheme of material optimization is put forward.The result of checking calculation meets the requirements of use,and good effect is obtained after modification.
