Objective Study the influence of welding process parameters on the quality of weld formation for a sealed automatic argon arc welding head,in order to meet the requirements of using an automatic tungsten electrode argon arc welding system to weld clean stainless steel thin-walled pipelines conveying high-purity media in the semiconductor and panel manufacturing industry.Method Select X2CrNiMo17-12-2 stainless steel pipe of diameter 12 x 2,Set corresponding welding process parameters to complete the welding of pipelines.Result Mechanical testing,non-destructive testing, and macroscopic metallographic testing are used to inspect the mechanical properties and structural characteristics of the weld seam, and the weld seam is free from external and internal defects; The tensile strength and various properties of the weld meet the specification requirements. Conclusion The automatic tungsten argon arc welding method and parameters can meet the welding requirements of X2CrNiMo17-12-2 pipes and similar stainless steel thin-walled pipes.
