This paper introduces a flexible cooling nozzle structure for wire rod and bar controlled rolling and cooling process.Its cooling characteristics,and the traditional cooling nozzle comparative analysis.Analysis and application results show that the use of flexible cooling nozzles in the controlled rolling and cooling process,the cooling core surface temperature difference is small,low working water pressure can also be cooled uniformly,the surface of the rolled parts is not easy to cold martensitic organization.Flexible cooling nozzles are more suitable for controlled rolling and cooling production of wire rod and bar than traditional cooling nozzles.
