In this paper,the new detection principle is used as the signal detection method to realize the automatic roll change function of cold and acid rolling mill.Using the detection device based on the principle of magnetostriction,adopting the split-type installation structure,the analog signal is quantized through the acquisition system,and the output open signal replaces the original proximity switch detection method.The new signal detection method can overcome the high temperature,high temperature and high corrosion environment in the field,and output the position information of the field mechanical moving parts stably and reliably.It reduces the number of detection devices,reduces the maintenance workload and spare parts cost,and improves the stability of the rolling mill automatic roll change function.
