In the harsh environment of high temperature,high humidity,corrosion and vibration,the plug failure of the slag conveyor belt is frequent.The basic concepts,principles and characteristics of aviation plugs and their application in steel slag transport belts are described.The results show that the aviation plug is connected to the control cable of the rope pull switch,the aviation socket is connected to the inlet end of the control cable,and the aviation plug is connected to the inlet end of the wire pull switch,which is used instead of the traditional way of twisting to connect the cable joint.Aviation plugs have the characteristics of long service life,low failure rate,low maintenance cost and rapid troubleshooting of electrical faults;The aviation plug is conducive to reducing the slag transport belt failure shutdown rate and the number of air reduction caused by the failure of the slag conveying belt in blast furnace production,shortening the time for troubleshooting,and improving work efficiency and production efficiency.
