To improve the sealing performance of nitrogen sealing for 120T converter feeding in steelmaking production.According to the method,high-temperature toxic gas will be generated during the smelting of the 120T converter.The furnace gas will rise along the auxiliary raw material chute of the feeding system to various material silos on the high-rise platform,causing damage to equipment such as electrical limits,cables,and mechanical seals.When there is a leakage of smelting gas,the silo will also produce gas explosions,which will pose a threat to the safety of personnel working on the high-level platform of the converter.This article is based on the feeding operation system of the 120T converter in the wide and thick plate factory.Through on-site surveying and theoretical calculation analysis,the nitrogen sealing device for feeding is modified.The modified feeding nitrogen sealing device not only saves the consumption of nitrogen gas in molten steel smelting in the wide and thick plate factory,but also enhances the sealing effect of nitrogen sealing during smelting;Moreover,it has improved the intrinsic safety of steelmaking production in wide and thick plate factories,reduced the pollution caused by smoke and dust leakage to the factory environment,and met environmental protection requirements.
