Aiming at poor starting performance,complex structure,and high maintenance cost of H-type vertical axis wind turbines,a 300W H-type vertical axis wind turbine is designed.The blades,main drive shaft,and braking device are designed and optimized.At the same time,SOLIDWORKS Flow Simulation software is used to simulate and analyze the wind turbine,calculating the magnitude of speed,pressure,and distributed force under different operating conditions.The simulation results show that the designed wind turbine has high safety and good starting performance at low wind speeds,providing a reference for improving the safety and efficiency of H-type vertical axis wind turbines and reducing maintenance costs.
