Aiming at the high-speed operation of 1580mm finishing mill of hot tandem mill,oil film bearing is easy to burn.This paper briefly introduces the working principle of oil film bearing in finish rolling and the structure of lubrication system,the causes of the accident are explored from multiple angles.Based on actual situation,preventive and improvement measures have been proposed from the aspects of lubrication system parameters and equipment accuracy,improving the load-bearing capacity of the oil film layer,creating stable operating conditions for the safe operation of oil film bearings.Effective control of abnormal burning of rolling mill oil film bearings,it has important reference value for the use and maintenance of oil film bearing.
