This paper systematically summarizes the demand and production status of hot-rolled thin-gauge high-strength steel at home and abroad,and analyzes the limitations and technical bottlenecks of production on traditional plate heat treatment lines.On this basis,a new production line for producing thin-gauge high-strength steel products by applying rapid heat treatment technology to continuous heat treatment process is designed,and the technical characteristics and advantages of the production line are discussed.Engineering practice has proved that the continuous heat treatment process is a feasible and efficient technical route for producing hot-rolled thin-gauge high-strength steel.
