This paper introduces the characteristics and working principle of IGCT(Integrated Gate-Commutated Thyristor),combines the medium voltage frequency converter of coking CDQ circulating fan,compares IGCT and IGBT technology,and describes the application of IGCT in medium voltage frequency converter technology in detail,which has a positive effect on mastering more IGCT maintenance knowledge.
