Vacuum consumable electrode melting furnace is an important equipment for smelting titanium and its alloys.Titanium and its alloys are chemically active,and once they encounter water in the smelting process,they will explode,which makes the process of smelting titanium and its alloys more dangerous.This paper discusses the potential safety hazards and preventive measures in the process of smelting titanium and its alloys,and provides reference for the production of titanium and its alloys in related enterprises.
