With the advent of smartphones and various intelligent terminal devices,coupled with the widespread application of digital platforms,contemporary global capitalist societies are undeniably transitioning into a phase of platform capitalism.Understanding and critiquing this new societal paradigm necessitate a return to theoretical frameworks proposed by figures such as Marx and Foucault.This entails revisiting perspectives rooted in historical materialism,political economy and biopolitics.By contemplating the historical emergence,current operations,and diverse facets of life governance,this paper seeks to provide insights into the understanding and critique of platform capitalism.It aims to propose pathways and methodologies for critiquing platform capitalism from the vantage points of historical materialism,political economy and biopolitics.
