Ideological Patterns and Value Discernment in Citation Philosophy
Citing previous ideas is the intellectual element of"going on"in philosophical studies,of which quotations are the most intuitive and public form.Since philosophy has generally been in the"going on"paradigm of understanding for most people and most of the time, citations have been customized, even fashioned and dogmatized. However, the lack of reflection on the normative limits of citation in the midst of the mass of citation activity has led to the greedy pursuit of citation and the blind pursuit of citation. However, under the criterion of logical validity of thought,it is not only required to examine the necessity and appropriateness of citation of a citation relative to the current cognitive subject and cognitive link, but also required to make a strict mutual compatibility audit of the thought system belonging to different citation entries,or else the direct or indirect contradiction of thought between different citation entries will be brought into the cognitive process in a covert manner, which results in the logical invalidity of the cognitive assertion. Therefore, only the philosophy of citation that treats citation with caution and insists on the logical examination of cited entries is a good philosophy of citation, while the opposite is a bad philosophy of citation.
