International Experience and China's Path to the Construction of Biodiversity Legal System from a Global Perspective
Biodiversity conservation is a crucial aspect of promoting global ecological civilization and is essential for the survival and development of humanity. The paper examines the current state of China's biodiversity legal system and, from a global perspective, summarizes the typical experiences of the United States, the United Kingdom,Australia,Japan, and other countries in constructing their biodiversity legal frameworks. These international examples provide valuable references for China's efforts in developing its biodiversity legal system.Facing new challenges in global biodiversity conservation,China should establish a comprehensive legal system for biodiversity with Chinese characteristics. This involves coordinating the international and domestic dimensions of biodiversity conservation law, scientifically planning and implementing biodiversity legal strategies, improving the legal framework for biodiversity security monitoring and early warning mechanisms, encouraging public participation in the construction of biodiversity laws, deepening international cooperation on biodiversity legal matters, and elevating global biodiversity conservation efforts to a new level.
