当今时代正处在工业文明向数字文明过渡的两大文明的交接期.系统性变革已经成为当前发展的关键性命题.以ChatGPT、Sora为标志的生成式AI,作为一项新质内容生产力,主要体现在它从"新"和"质"两个层面对传统内容生产力进行了革新,同时也对整个传播流程、传播结构、传播范围、传播目标等方面将产生结构性、革命性的改变.我们必须汲取过去发展中的经验和教训,处理好媒介融合的"宽"与"窄"、"竞"与"合"、从"市场洞察"出发与从"供给侧"出发等关系,多渠道、多途径、多手段地构建生成式AI传播领域的新生态、新变局,充分发挥生成式AI作为智能主体的"替代"作用,扩大其影响力、传播效果,实现"从0 到1"和"从1 到100"的创新发展,最终以一种全新的方式拥抱正在到来的全新变革.
Generative AI as a New-quality Productive Force in the Field of Communication:The Technological Revolution of Communication and the Evolution of Communication Practice Logic
We are currently in a transitional period,moving from an industrial civilization to a digital civilization.Systematic transformation has become a crucial theme of contemporary development.Generative AI,exemplified by technologies such as ChatGPT and Sora,represents a new-quality productive force in content creation.This innovation is reflected in two key aspects:the"newness"and"quality"of content production.Generative AI introduces revolutionary changes to the entire communication process,including communication structures,scope,and objectives.To fully harness this potential,we must learn from past experiences and lessons,balancing the relationships between broad and narrow media integration,competition and cooperation,and market-driven insights versus supply-side approaches.By employing multiple channels,pathways,and strategies,we can build a new communication ecosystem shaped by generative AI.The technology's capacity to act as an intelligent agent,with its unique influence and communication effects,enables innovations that progress"from 0 to 1"and"from 1 to 100".Ultimately,we must embrace the impending transformation in entirely new ways.
