REVIEW ON THE PARAMETER SELECTION OF THE ROUND BLOOM CASTER IN BAOTONG COMPANY
Under the strategy orientation of enhancing the product grades of the steel tube, expanding the production scale of high value-added products and optimizing the allocation of resources, Baosteel Nantong has become an environmental-friendly company of fluent process flow, low energy consumption, high quality. The ＂general turn best＂ product structure adjustment scheme, which would produce low alloy large diameter pipes billet instead of carbon steels and screw steels, and the production technology and equipment optimization, had been carried out by Baosteel Nantong. The ideas and calculation methods on how to select the main technology parameters of the new round bloom continuous casting machine were discussed by this article in details, which would provide a certain reference for the selection of the same type continuous casting machine.
