RESEARCH ON THE EFFECT OF ONE TIME TREATMENT METHOD OF CONVERTER STEEL SLAG ON THE YIELD OF STEEL SLAG MAGNETIC SEPARATION POWDER
This article explores the effect of different primary treatment methods of steel slag on the recovery rate of magnetic separation powder from secondary treatment of steel slag using three different steel slag treatment methods:hot splashing,pool type hot soaking,and pressure hot soaking,which are produced by the same steelmaking method during a specific period in the converter zone of a certain steel plant.It was found that the one-time disposal method of liquid slag is a direct factor affecting the yield of magnetic separation powder.The yield of hot splashed slag magnetic separation powder is about 3.3 times higher than that of pool type and pressurized hot soaking.
