By analyzing steel industry credit rating methods of domestic and foreign credit rating agencies,this paper finds that domestic credit rating agencies have preliminarily established a set of ESG evaluation methods,which incorporate ESG as an adjustment item into the credit rating model for the steel industry and judge whether to adjust the individual credit rating based on important events in the ESG field.Finally,this paper suggests that the top-level design of ESG should be strengthened,the ESG evaluation standard of steel industry should be improved,and credit rating agencies should carry out in-depth ESG evaluation of steel industry,and deeply integrate the ESG evaluation of steel enterprises with credit ratings.
