Influence Mechanism of Knowledge Recombination on Innovation Performance of High-Tech Enterprises
Innovation is a key driver of core competence enhancement in high-tech firms, and knowledge recombination(KR)plays an important role in the process of enhancing innovation performance(IP),However, existing studies have not yet fully explored the mechanisms by which KR affects IP.It constructed a mechanism model of the impact of KR on IP,explored the mediating effect of relation dynamics and the moderating effect of knowledge network decomposability(DEC),and used financial, patent and alliance data of 436 A-share listed high-tech firms during 2000-2019 for empirical analysis. The results show that:recombinant creation(KRC)not only directly promotes IP,but also indirectly promotes collaboration relation expansion(CRE);the relationship between recombinant reuse(KRR)and IP is inverted U-shaped,and collaboration relation stability(CRS)partially mediates the impact of KRR on IP;DEC strengthens the positive relationship between KRC and IP,and positively moderates the inverted U-shaped relationship between KRR and IP.It improves the influence mechanism of KR on innovation of high-tech enterprises, which has practical guidance significance for them to coordinate internal and external resources to achieve recombination innovation.
