Servitization,Green Technology Innovation and ESG Performance of Advanced Manufacturing Companies—Based on the Moderating Effect of Intellectual Capital
In the context of the service economy era, leveraging the advantages of servitization to promote green technology innovation has become an important way for sustainable development of enterprises. However,it is not yet clear whether the dynamic capabilities, resources and competitive advantages brought by servitization can match the sustainable development and ESG performance of advanced manufacturing companies,as well as the mechanisms of green technology innovation and knowledge capital. Therefore, based on the multi-dimensional analysis of the impact mechanism of servitization on the ESG performance of advanced manufacturing companies,it empirically tested the influence of servitization on the ESG performance of China's A-share listed advanced manufacturing companies from 2015 to 2021.It also explored the mediating mechanism of green technological innovation and the moderating mechanism of knowledge capital. The results show that servitization positively improves the ESG performance of advanced manufacturing companies, and has a more significant impact on the ESG performance of small and medium-sized enterprises and state-owned enterprises.Green technology innovation plays a partial mediative role in promoting the ESG performance of advanced manufacturing companies through servitization.Knowledge capital positively moderates the relationship between servitization and ESG performance of advanced manufacturing companies, among which the moderating effect of human capital is more significant. The research conclusion helps to reveal the"black box"of ESG performance of advanced manufacturing companies under the three-wheel drive of"service-innovation-knowledge",and provides management inspiration for advanced manufacturing enterprises to rationally allocate static resources and dynamic capabilities to exert the promotional impact of servitization on ESG performance.
