MES construction in smart factory based on information fusion platform
Manufacturing Execution System(MES) is an information management system that orients to workshop level job execution,which is located between enterprise management layer and equipment control layer,and provides manufacturing company management functions including production planning,production scheduling,inventory,quality and equipment management.This paper illustrates the process of MES construction in smart factory in Tangsteel Company,HBIS,and,by combing production line with user requirements for information system,redefines the role of traditional MES,which makes it the platform for information fusion and interaction in the whole information system.
