Research on scheduling problem of slab outbound based on two-stage heuristic algorithm
To improve the efficiency of slab production in the slab warehouse,it is necessary to make a decision to use a crane to lift the most suitable slab quickly and complete the production line ac-cording to the requirements of the rolling unit.Due to the difficulty of manual scheduling,a mathe-matical model was established and a fast two-stage heuristic algorithm was designed with constraints on the steel grade,width,thickness,weight,and other requirements of the slab during the rolling process,as well as the goal of balancing the amount of slab stacking,the handling distance of the overhead crane,and the task allocation of multi span overhead cranes.Taking the actual data of the slab warehouse site as an example,the model and algorithm were tested,and the results of manual scheduling and algorithm solving were compared and verified to prove that the model and algorithm can improve the efficiency of slab outbound production and meet actual production needs.
