Research on heating furnace loading plan considering mixed arrangement
The heating furnace,as an essential equipment in the hot rolling stage,consumes more than half of the energy in the entire hot rolling section.Due to the different heating times and heating effi-ciencies required for cold and hot slabs and carbon steel stainless steel slabs,it is a matter of great concern in the steel industry on how to reasonably arrange the furnace loading plan to improve pro-duction efficiency and reduce energy consumption while ensuring quality.A multi-objective optimiza-tion mathematical model was established for the furnace loading plan with mixed arrangement.The objectives are to minimize the waiting time of the hot rolling mill,minimize the total residence time of the slabs,and minimize the penalty for mixed arrangement.The sparrow search heuristic algorithm is used for solving.The results show that compared to manual scheduling,the total residence time of this method is reduced by 10.3%,and the mixed arrangement penalty is also reduced compared to manu-al scheduling.
