Clinical Effect of 25G Minimally Invasive Vitrectomy in the Treatment of Rhegmatogenous Retinal Detachment
Objective To explore the clinical effect of 25G minimally invasive vitrectomy in the treatment of rhegmatogenous retinal detachment. Methods 102 patients with rhegmatogenous retinal detachment were randomly divided into study group(25G vitrectomy)and control group(23G vitrectomy). The best corrected visual acuity(BCVA),intraocular pressure, retinal reattachment rate, and incidence of complications were compared between the two groups. Results 1 week,1 month and 3 months after surgery, the BCVA of the study group were lower than those of the control group(P<0.05).No statistical difference was found in the intraocular pressure and retinal resetting rate between the two groups(P>0.05).The incidence of complications in the study group was 3.92%,lower than 17.65%in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusions 25G minimally invasive vitrectomy is more beneficial to visual recovery of patients with rhegmatogenous retinal detachment with higher safety, which is worthy of clinical promotion.
