Effect and Safety of Circulating Single-Sided Phototherapy in the Treatment of Neonatal Jaundice
Objective To explore the effect and safety of circulating single-sided phototherapy in the treatment of neonatal jaundice. Methods 200 neonates with jaundice admitted to our hospital from August 2021 to July 2023 were divided into two groups according to the inclusion order. The control group was treated with continuous single-sided phototherapy, and the observation group was treated with circulating single-sided phototherapy. The treatment effect and safety of the two groups were compared. Results No statistical difference was found in the total effective rate between the two groups(P>0.05).24 h and 72 h after treatment, the TBIL levels of both groups decreased, and the TBIL level of the observation group was lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, and the yellowing discharge time and hospitalization time were shorter than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusions Circulating single-sided phototherapy in the treatment of neonatal jaundice has similar effect to continuous single-sided phototherapy, but has shorter onset time and hospitalization time, and higher treatment safety.
