Value of Three-Dimensional Ultrasound Measurement of Carotid Artery Parameters in the Diagnosis of Ischemic Stroke
Objective To explore the value of three-dimensional ultrasound measurement of carotid artery parameters in the diagnosis of ischemic stroke(IS).Methods 90 IS patients admitted to our hospital from May 2022 to April 2023 were selected as observation group, and 90 patients with carotid plaque but no infarction lesions were selected as control group. Both groups underwent 3D ultrasound examination to analyze the value of carotid plaque parameters in predicting IS.Results The median gray scale of the observation group was lower than that of the control group, and the vascular wall area and standardized tube wall index were higher than those of the control group(P<0.05).The AUC of median gray scale, vascular wall area, standardized tube wall index and combined detection for predicting IS were 0.737,0.766,0.739 and 0.899,respectively;the AUC of combined detection for predicting IS was higher than that of single detection(P<0.05).Conclusions The three-dimensional ultrasound parameters of carotid plaque such as median gray scale, vascular wall area and standardized wall index are valuable in predicting the occurrence of IS.The combined detection of the three parameters can improve the prediction efficiency.
