Impact of Systematic Holistic Nursing on Emotions and Cognitive Function in Patients with Ischemic Stroke
Objective To explore the impact of systematic holistic nursing on emotions and cognitive function in patients with ischemic stroke(IS).Methods 80 IS patients admitted to our hospital from April 2022 to February 2023 were selected and randomly divided into observation group and control group. The control group received routine nursing, and the observation group received systematic holistic nursing. The emotional score and cognitive function were compared between the two groups. Results After intervention, the State Anxiety Inventory(SAI)scores of the two groups decreased, and the SAI score of the observation group was lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).After intervention, the scores of Mini-mental State Examination(MMSE)and Montreal Cognitive Assessment(MoCA)in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and the score of Medical Uncertainty Inventory Scale(MUIS)was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusions Systematic holistic nursing can alleviate the anxiety and disease uncertainty in IS patients, and improve the cognitive function.
