Impact of Respiratory Function Exercise Based on IMB Model on the Prognosis of Elderly Patients with Lung Cancer Surgery
Objective To explore the impact of respiratory function exercise based on information-motivation-behavioral skills(IMB)model on the prognosis of elderly patients with lung cancer surgery. Methods 80 elderly patients with lung cancer surgery were randomly divided into control group(n = 40)and observation group(n = 40).The control group was given routine nursing intervention, and the observation group was given respiratory function exercise based on IMB model on the basis of the control group. The lung function and the incidence of postoperative pulmonary complications(PPCs)were compared between the two groups. Results 7 days after surgery, the PEF,FEV1 and FVC levels of the observation group were higher than those of the control group(P<0.05).The incidence of PPCs in the observation group was 10.00%,lower than 30.00%in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusions Respiratory function exercise based on IMB model can significantly promote the recovery of pulmonary function and reduce the risk of PPCs in elderly patients with lung cancer surgery.
