Impact of Systematic Nursing Intervention on Postoperative Complications and Vision-Related Quality of Life in Patients with Primary Glaucoma
Objective To explore the impact of systematic nursing intervention on postoperative complications and vision-related quality of life in patients with primary glaucoma. Methods 102 patients with primary glaucoma were randomly divided into observation group(systematic nursing intervention)and control group(routine nursing). The visual acuity level, intraocular pressure,vision-related quality of life, and complications were compared between the two groups. Results After intervention, the visual acuity level of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the intraocular pressure was lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).After intervention, the VRQL scale score of the observation group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).The incidence of complications in the observation group was 7.84%,lower than 23.53%in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusions Systematic nursing intervention can improve postoperative visual acuity level and intraocular pressure in patients with primary glaucoma, improve vision-related quality of life, and reduce the incidence of complications.
