Application Effect of Individualized Nursing in the Perioperative Period of Cataract Surgery Patients and the Impact on Complications
Objective To explore the application effect of individualized nursing in the perioperative period of cataract surgery patients and the impact on complications. Methods 80 cataract patients undergoing surgery in our hospital from June 2022 to June 2023 were selected and were randomly divided into two groups. The control group received routine nursing, while the observation group received individualized nursing on the basis of the control group. The postoperative related indicators, complications, and quality of life were compared between two groups. Results The postoperative visual acuity level of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, the hospitalization time was shorter than that of the control group, and the hospitalization cost was lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).1 month after surgery, the quality of life score of the observation group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).The incidence of postoperative complications in the observation group was 10.0%,significantly lower than 27.5%in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusions Individualized nursing in the perioperative period of cataract surgery patients has significant effect, which helps improve the visual acuity and quality of life, shorten hospitalization time, and reduce the incidence of complications.
