Diagnostic Value of Carotid Atherosclerosis Ultrasound Parameters for Coronary Heart Disease
Objective To explore the value of carotid atherosclerosis ultrasound parameters in the diagnosis of coronary heart disease.Methods 87 patients with coronary heart disease admitted to our hospital from January 2022 to December 2022 were selected as the observation group,and 87 healthy people who underwent physical examination in our hospital during the same period were selected as the control group.After admission,the carotid artery was detected by ultrasound instrument in both groups.The carotid atherosclerosis plaque index,common carotid artery IMT and internal carotid artery IMT were compared between the two groups,and the diagnostic efficacy of carotid atherosclerosis ultrasound parameters for coronary heart disease was evaluated.Results The carotid atherosclerosis plaque index,common carotid artery IMT and internal carotid artery IMT in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).ROC curve showed that the AUC of combined detection of carotid atherosclerosis plaque index,common carotid artery IMT and internal carotid artery IMT in the diagnosis of coronary heart disease was 0.924,higher than that of single detection of each index(P<0.05).The sensitivity,specificity and accuracy of combined detection of carotid atherosclerosis plaque index,common carotid artery IMT and internal carotid artery IMT in the diagnosis of coronary heart disease were higher than those of single detection of the three indicators(P<0.05).Conclusions There are obvious carotid atherosclerosis lesions in patients with coronary heart disease.The clinical use of ultrasound to detect carotid atherosclerosis parameters has high diagnostic value for coronary heart disease.
