Impact of Salmeterol Fluticasone Combined with Tiotropium Bromide on Inflammatory Response and Lung Function of Pa-tients with Acute Exacerbation of COPD
Objective To explore the impact of salmeterol fluticasone combined with tiotropium bromide on inflammatory response and lung function of patients with acute exacerbation of COPD(AECOPD).Methods 86 patients with AECOPD were randomly divided into two groups. On the basis of routine treatment, the control group was treated with tiotropium bromide powder inhalation, while the observation group was treated with tiotropium bromide powder inhalation combined with salmeterol fluticasone aerosol. The inflammatory factors, lung function and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results After treatment, the levels of IL-8,TNF-α and hs-CRP in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and FEV1,PEF and FVC were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).No significant difference was found in the total incidence of adverse reactions during treatment between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusions Salmeterol fluticasone combined with tiotropium bromide in the treatment of AECOPD can significantly reduce the inflammatory response and improve the lung function of patients, with higher safety.
