Clinical Effect of Omeprazole Combined with Octreotide in the Treatment of Esophageal-Gastric Variceal Bleeding Caused by Cirrhosis
Objective To explore the clinical effect of omeprazole combined with octreotide in the treatment of esophageal-gastric variceal bleeding(EGVB)caused by cirrhosis. Methods 100 patients with EGVB caused by cirrhosis were randomly divided into two groups. On the basis of routine therapy, the control group was treated with octreotide, and the study group was treated with omeprazole combined with octreotide. The treatment effect, clinical indicators and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results After treatment, the total effective rate of the study group was higher than that of the control group, the blood transfusion volume and rebleeding rate were lower than those of the control group, the hemostasis time was shorter than that of the control group, and the hemostasis rate within 24 h was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).No significant difference was found in the total incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusions Omeprazole combined with octreotide in the treatment of EGVB caused by cirrhosis has exact effect, which can effectively stop bleeding and has high safety.
