Analysis on the Effect of Atorvastatin Combined with Metoprolol in the Treatment of CHF and Its Therapeutic Mechanism
Objective To explore the effect of atorvastatin combined with metoprolol in the treatment of chronic heart failure(CHF)and its therapeutic mechanism. Methods A total of 80 patients with CHF were randomly divided into two groups, with 40 cases in each group. The control group was treated with atorvastatin calcium, and the observation group was treated with metoprolol succinate on the basis of the control group. The therapeutic effect, serum indicators and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate in the observation group was 95.00%,higher than 70.00%in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the levels of NT-proBNP and CysC in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).No significant difference was found in the incidences of nausea&vomiting, insomnia, dizziness&headache, diarrhea and dry mouth between the two groups(all P>0.05).Conclusions Atorvastatin combined with metoprolol has good effect and high safety in the treatment of CHF,and its therapeutic mechanism may be related to the inhibition of the expressions of NT-proBNP and CysC.
